When I go to My Computer and I double click on an Excel file to open, Excel 2000 (SP3) will open up with nothing, Just a grey background. Not even a new worksheet. But while in Excel I can go to File and Open and open up any Excel Documents perfectly fine.
This is Office 2000 (SP3) on Windows XP SP2 Professional. The Documents are Locally stored
This issue does not occur with Word or any other Office component.
Some Steps I have tried
1) Reinstalling Excel
2) Deleting everything inside the c:\program files\Microsoft Office.......\startup folder
3) Deleting all temporary Internet Files
4) Creating a brand new worksheet and saving it and opening it. (Same symptons)
